Amanda comes to Therigy with over a decade’s worth of experience in healthcare. She has held positions with a variety of healthcare organizations, most recently serving as Director of Clinical Services and Program Management for a large independent specialty pharmacy and SP management company. During her time there, she successfully implemented and managed clinical programs supporting a robust specialty product pipeline, including gaining access to several limited distribution drugs. Prior to this position, she held roles providing consulting services in geriatrics and pharmacogenetics, as well as positions with CVS/Caremark in operations. She has experience clinically managing patients with a variety of complex diseases, including Hepatitis C, HIV, inflammatory diseases, cardiovascular disease, and oncology, and developed clinical outcomes measures associated with specialty clinical care management programs for both payers and industry programs. She has experience with implementation of specialty pharmacies for both IDNs and large physician practice groups, and also served as the senior clinical person for accreditations with both URAC and ACHC. She is an active participant with the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) and was selected as member of a specialty pharmacy taskforce to determine clinical outcomes and development of future CMS measures. She also maintains current memberships with AMCP, NASP, and ASCP.
Amanda received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
