Therigy today announced that The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy Alumni Association will present Russel Allinson, RPH, MS with the Jack L. Beal Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field of pharmacy.
Allinson, who received his Masters of Science from the college, will be presented with the award at the Alumni Association's 25th annual awards banquet on May 9, 2008, in Columbus, Ohio. The honor recognizes Allinson's years of distinguished service in the organization and administration of clinical pharmacy services, as well as his industry leadership in the areas of clinical development and cost analysis related to delivery of pharmacy services.
"It is a great honor to have been singled out by the Pharmacy Alumni Society," comments Allinson. "Throughout my career, I have been extremely proud to be an alumnus of the OSU College of Pharmacy. The reputation of the college and the thousands of extraordinary graduates from the school has always made me feel part of an elite group of individuals. Among all the accomplished graduates of the institution, never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be singled out for my work. I couldn't feel more honored."
Alongside Allinson, as he attends the Awards Banquet next month, will be his wife, Amy, as well as the couple's five children — all delighted to see their father's work acknowledged in this way.
