Press Release: Therigy’s Lily Duong to Present at Virtual 2020 Vanderbilt Health-Systems Specialty Pharmacy Outcomes Research Summit

Orlando, FL, August 18, 2020 –Therigy®, the trusted partner for specialty pharmacy therapy management software and services, announced today that Lily Duong, PharmD and Chief Clinical Officer, will present at the Vanderbilt Health-Systems Pharmacy Outcomes Research Summit on August 26. Dr. Duong will discuss “Health-System Collaborations in Outcome Research” as part of a panel along with Lana Gerzenshtein, PharmD, BCPS, CSP, from Excelera, and Autumn Zuckerman, PharmD, BCPS, AAHIVP, CSP, Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

 

Vanderbilt’s Outcomes Research Summit provides a forum for attendees to learn strategies to build outcomes research initiatives within a health-system specialty pharmacy and how to utilize research findings to portray value. During this summit, attendees will glean insight on partnering with key stakeholders (pharma, PBMs, technology partners, payers, etc.) in the industry to complete outcomes research projects. The summit is being held virtually this year and runs August 24-28, 2020.

 

Specialty pharmacies within health-systems are in the best position to provide quality care to specialty patients. Dr. Duong will share experiences in collaborative outcome initiatives amongst health-system specialty pharmacies. She will also address how collaborative outcomes initiatives can improve quality of care for specialty patients and will compare benefits of collecting patient clinical outcomes from multiple health-systems vs. a single health-system.

 

As Chief Clinical Officer for Therigy, Dr. Duong is responsible for the development of Therigy’s specialty therapy management program and clinical reporting. She provides clinical expertise and oversees the team that develops custom clinical and adherence programs as well as adherence metrics and outcomes reports for different patient populations and various disease states.
