Marketing Specialist Intern

Our ideal Marketing Specialist Intern is a highly analytical, motivated self-starter who has the desire to help drive and measure the success of all marketing activities at Therigy. This role will involve working with the Marketing Department and Management to successfully develop, deploy, and document all marketing activities. A successful Marketing Specialist Intern will drive innovation to continually develop marketing material to increase our competitive advantage within the specialty pharmaceutical industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop content and post social media for company
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and assets
  • Manage third party vendor relationships
  • Update copy changes needed to company website when necessary
  • Create digital marketing campaigns/web forms
  • Support sales and client services in marketing initiatives
  • Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows and events
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

 

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Marketing, Communications or Business Administration or equivalent education and experience preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Marketing
  • Confident, articulate, and able to think on your feet
  • Specialty Pharmacy and/or Healthcare experience preferred; aptitude for acquiring strong industry knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Exceptional proofreading
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); CRM/Database marketing a plus
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal and external clients, mid- and upper-level management, and operational personnel
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in facilitating the performance of cross-functional teams

Position Reports to: Director, Marketing

ADA:  The position requires being seated in front of a computer and utilizing a keyboard in excess of eight hours per day.  May require lifting in excess of ten (10) pounds.
